Target's Take Charge of Education Program: We have received a check from Target for $241.84 through this program. Thank you to all of you who use the Target cards.

2008 KTA Auction / Dinner: Our auction was a huge success! Thank you to all who participated. Our grand total was $12,398.61! Here are your totals: General fund - $6,926.10 Classroom totals - $1,225.50 New Desks - $1,125.00 P.E. Equipment - $450.00 PTO Teacher Appreciation - $1,600.00 Lunchroom Bake Sale & Auction - $1,072.01
Box Top News: Please turn in all Campbell's UPC’s and lids, Nestle Pure Life Water labels, Box Tops, Tyson A+ labels and milk caps as soon as possible so we can mail them off by the end of the month.

Pre-K:
This week we will be talking about families. Our Perry Farm trip is Wednesday, March 14th. Pre-School graduation is May 23rd.

Kindergarten:
This week during Phonics the sounds of ow in owl and bowl are introduced. We are continuing with our reading groups. There is no Show and Tell the rest of the year. We are concentrating on our reading groups on Fridays and Mondays.

First Grade:
Please work with your child on Frog projects, they are due on Monday the 12th. No school on Friday the 9th due to a funeral. The spelling test will be on Thursday, the 8th. It is a review week. God Bless,

Third Grade:
Book reports begin Monday. Please help your child review English papers sent home Friday. Also, your child should make a poster, etc. to show for Academic Fair. Please send back Social Studies project this week. Social Studies test on Wednesday. Capital/State test on Thursday. Please help your child review his/her state cards. Math test on Monday, May 12th (lessons 116-120).

Miss Chlupsa

Book Club: 4th through 6th graders who LOVE to read, you are invited to join the Trinity Book Club with Mrs. Rozak and Miss Chlupsa in the 5th grade room. Its' our last club this year! Come on May 6th from 3:30 to 4:30. You need to have your own transportation worked out. Please read “Prince Caspian” by C.S. Lewis. We may try to see the movie together.

High School News:
Yearbook: The deadline for messages to 8th grade and 12th grade graduates has been extended until the end of this month.

Soccer Fun Day: Pastor Andy Hamilton would like to have a soccer fun day after school on May 19. This will be for all junior and senior high school girls and boys.
