Eagle Ensemble will be leading worship for “The Way” Youth Service at People’s Church Thursday March 1st at 7 pm. All Junior and Senior High are welcome to join us!!!!!
Auction Bake Sale-March 31st- Please help our bake sale for the upcoming auction to be a success. The PTO uses the money earned at this huge event to fill many needs that help benefit our school and our kids. We are looking for individually wrapped items that can be used as “the end of the meal” dessert for a small donation, as well as whole treats to auction off during the silent auction. There will be a sign-up sheet in the school hall for your convenience in signing up. You can also pass a note to Pam St. Aubin or call her at 815-468-3977.Please just specify whether you’re bringing individual items, whole items, or both. Also, leave your information so that we can remind you as time gets closer. Desserts can be dropped off at the school the Friday before the auction by 3pm or at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kankakee at set-up on Saturday.

PreK: Thank you to all the parents who helped out with our Valentine’s party. Everyone our celebration. We are learning about Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. The extra family time was a blessing on President’s Day.

Fourth Grade: This week our character trait is obedience. The memory verse for the week is John 1:5-6. Students are reading books of their choice and will be working on writing book reviews in the coming weeks! Have a blessed week.

Junior High: Please remember to send in Auction money for your Junior High Class project. Next week the 6th grade will be studying “The Miracles of Christ” and we will be memorizing 1 Thessalonians 4:13-16. The 7th grade will be studying the Major Prophets and memorizing Micah 6:8. The 8th Grade will be looking at “Self-Control” in proverbs and memorizing Joshua 1:5-6. May you celebrate God’s ever present love!
